FAP has supported a wide range of projects that reflect and respond to the needs, priorities, and witness of the churches, as well as their presence in civil society.

FAP seeks to address requests from, or supported by, Reformed churches for actions that benefit the greatest number of people, particularly disadvantaged groups. While a Reformed church must initiate the request, the beneficiaries often extend beyond the local Protestant community. FAP rarely engages in multi-year projects or those where it is the sole contributor.

The FAP Council dedicates two of its three annual meetings to reviewing and approving projects.

PRACTICAL ARRANGEMENTS :

The first step is to contact the FAP secretariat by email to confirm whether the request falls within the areas of activity and meets the basic criteria.
Based on this, an application form will be provided.
The completed form, along with a full budget, financing plan, and any additional supporting documents, must be submitted to the secretariat by:

  • August 31, or
  • December 31

In exceptional and justified cases, applications may also be considered for the June Council meeting, with a deadline of March 31.

BENEFICIARIES :

Applications must be supported by a member church of the World Communion of Reformed Churches (WCRC), or by an organization that is directly supported by or closely collaborates with such a church.

Before submitting any projects, please contact the secretariat.
