Financing Church Projects

"The purpose of FAP is to provide grants for specific projects carried out by organizations within the Reformed Protestantism tradition, or with their support. These projects may take place anywhere in the world and can encompass a variety of fields, particularly ecclesiastical, social, or cultural"

(Art. 2 of the Articles of Association)

The projects supported by FAP span all areas of the Church's mission, with a particular focus on training, education, diakonia, development, and ecumenical and interreligious collaboration. In exceptional cases, FAP also provides support for emergency aid. To date, it has supported over a thousand projects.

"Human beings take precedence over material things." While FAP supports a wide variety of projects, its emphasis on training and education, along with all aspects of human development remains a cornerstone of its vision.

FAP does not consider itself a humanitarian or development aid organization in the strict sense. Instead, it focuses on providing targeted support to local actors within the Reformed Churches who are engaged in concrete initiatives.

FAP is especially committed to addressing requests for action on behalf of minorities and communities facing challenges in having their voices heard and their rights respected.

FAP's support goes well beyond administrative procedures; it is about the life stories of women, men, and children.
