The Council met in Geneva for its final session of the year in mid-October.
Hope as a lens through which to view the current context was at the heart of the meeting, which addressed issues of partnership as well as matters related to the Council’s operations.
Faced, once again, with a record number of funding requests, the Council ultimately approved eleven projects totaling more than 350,000 CHF to support churches and partners—both long-standing and new—in Venezuela, Switzerland, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, France, Morocco, Brazil, and India. One project was rejected.
