The Council met in Geneva for its first session of the year at the beginning of March.
The reading of the current context of precariousness related to conflicts in different regions of the world (with a more specific look at the Middle East) was at the center of the meeting.
Faced with a record amount of requested contributions, the Council finally approved twelve projects for an amount exceeding 290'000. - CHF to support old and new Churches and partners in Argentina, Armenia, Djibouti, DR Congo, Hungary, Kenya, Lebanon, Mauritius, Nigeria, Oman, Syria, Sweden. Four projects were rejected.
