The Christian Institute of gender studies (ICEG) was created in 2004 to provide a space for reflection, training and exchange on the issues of roles assigned to men and women in society and in the church. The ICEG is associated with the Department of Programs of the Council of Churches of Cuba and the Chair dedicated to this theme at the Theological Seminary of Matanzas.<\/p>\n
Since 20 years ICEG performs ecumenical and interdisciplinary actions of training in congregations and communities. These actions are related to theological education with gender, social justice, holistic, approach. The Institute has developed hundreds of successful workshops for pastors, lay and community leaders who will become multipliers in their communities of the training received. There have been unsatisfied demands from the different denominations. The ICEG has had the collaboration of professionals of Cuban and foreign theologians committed to gender justice as well as of outstanding university professors who are opinion leaders in the Cuban society.<\/p>\n
Three annual worshops and 12 biblical-theological topics (one monthly topic) have been organised and sent to the local congregations and to multipliers to be presented and discussed at local level:<\/p>\n

L\u2019Institut Chr\u00e9tien d\u2019Etudes de Genre (ICEG)<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 2004 dans le but d\u2019offrir un espace de r\u00e9flexion, de formation et d\u2019\u00e9change sur les probl\u00e9matiques des r\u00f4les attribu\u00e9s aux hommes et aux femmes dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et dans l\u2019\u00e9glise. L\u2019ICEG est associ\u00e9 au D\u00e9partement de programmes du Conseil des Eglises de Cuba et \u00e0 la Chaire consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 cette th\u00e9matique au S\u00e9minaire de Th\u00e9ologie de Matanzas.<\/p>\n Depuis 20 ans, l\u2019ICEG m\u00e8ne des actions \u0153cum\u00e9niques et interdisciplinaires de formation dans les congr\u00e9gations et communaut\u00e9s. Ces actions sont li\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9ducation th\u00e9ologique avec le genre, la justice sociale, holistique, approche. L\u2019Institut a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des centaines d\u2019ateliers r\u00e9ussis pour les pasteurs, les la\u00efcs et les leaders communautaires qui deviendront des multiplicateurs dans leurs communaut\u00e9s de la formation re\u00e7ue. Il y a eu des demandes non satisfaites de la part des diff\u00e9rentes confessions.
