Centro Popular para Am\u00e9rica Latina de Comunicaci\u00f3n, CEPALC (Latin American Center for People Communication) created in 1978 promotes through the appropriation of media the dignity and rights of women and children. In recent years, the priority has been advising and accompanying groups of women, youth, and children in areas where the social and political conflict that has struck Colombia for more than 50 years has been more intense.<\/p>\n
In 2022, at the invitation of some friends of the demobilized guerrilla communities, we visited the villages and held workshops with the child population. We verified the urgency of supporting these groups and these children who are \u201cchildren of peace\u201d and a real, concrete seed of hope in which a society can be built in the country guided by values of Justice and peace as taught by the Gospel message<\/p>\n
More than 70 children and young people joined the full programme. They came from demobilized ex-guerrilla FARC families living in communities belonging municipalities on Meta department.<\/p>\n
Training work with children has allowed us to get closer to parents, especially mothers, and initiate a training process with them on their rights, especially sexual and reproductive rights and economic rights.<\/p>\n
In these two years of activities we observed Growth of self-esteem, confidence in themselves, in their knowledge and powers; Intellectual and affective enrichment of their lives thanks to the appropriation of languages and means of communication that allow them to gain social visibility before adults and strengthen the defence of their rights, gained skills to know and to express their emotions; work in solidarity in community and interact with the world of adults; begin of awareness to feel and act as subjects of rights, little by little abandoning the passivity and submission in which the majority were socialized following the prejudices of the patriarchal culture<\/p>\n

Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, la priorit\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 donn\u00e9e \u00e0 des groupes de femmes, de jeunes et d\u2019enfants qui ont re\u00e7u des conseils et des accompagnements dans les r\u00e9gions o\u00f9 le conflit social et politique, qui s\u00e9vit en Colombie depuis plus de 50 ans, est plus intense.<\/p>\n
En 2022, \u00e0 l\u2019invitation de quelques amis des communaut\u00e9s de gu\u00e9rilleros d\u00e9mobilis\u00e9es, nous avons visit\u00e9 les villages et organis\u00e9 des ateliers avec la population enfantine. Nous avons constat\u00e9 l\u2019urgence de soutenir ces groupes et ces enfants qui sont \u00ab enfants de paix \u00bb et une v\u00e9ritable semence d\u2019espoir concr\u00e8te dans laquelle une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 peut \u00eatre construite dans le pays guid\u00e9e par les valeurs de la justice et de la paix enseign\u00e9es par le message \u00e9vang\u00e9lique<\/p>\n
Plus de 70 enfants et jeunes ont particip\u00e9 au programme complet. Ils venaient de familles d\u2019ex-gu\u00e9rilleros d\u00e9mobilis\u00e9es des FARC vivant dans des communaut\u00e9s appartenant \u00e0 des municipalit\u00e9s du d\u00e9partement de Meta.<\/p>\n
Le travail de formation aupr\u00e8s des enfants nous a permis de nous rapprocher des parents, en particulier les m\u00e8res, et d\u2019initier un processus de formation avec eux sur leurs droits, notamment les droits sexuels et reproductifs et les droits \u00e9conomiques.<\/p>\n
Au cours de ces deux ann\u00e9es d\u2019activit\u00e9s, nous avons observ\u00e9 une croissance de l\u2019estime de soi et de la confiance en soi, dans ses connaissances et ses pouvoirs; un enrichissement intellectuel et affectif de leur vie gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019appropriation des langages et des moyens de communication qui leur permettent d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir une visibilit\u00e9 sociale aupr\u00e8s des adultes et de renforcer la d\u00e9fense de leurs droits ; acquis des comp\u00e9tences pour conna\u00eetre et exprimer leurs \u00e9motions; un travail en solidarit\u00e9 dans la communaut\u00e9 et interaction avec le monde des adultes; debout de prise de conscience de se sentir et agir comme des sujets de droits, abandonnant peu \u00e0 peu la passivit\u00e9 et la soumission dans lesquelles la majorit\u00e9 se trouvait suivant les pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s de la culture patriarcale.<\/p>\n
