FAP at a glance<\/b><\/span><\/h1>\n

The Foundation for Aid to Reformed Protestantism (FAP) was established on 7 May 1979 through a generous donation. Rev. Dr Edmond Perret, general secretary of the World Alliance of Reformed Churches (WARC), now known as the World Communion of Reformed Churches (WCRC), was one of the first members of its Board. FAP is registered in the Commercial Register and is subject to oversight by the Swiss Federal Supervisory Authority for Foundations (FSAF). Its headquarters are located in Geneva, at the World Council of Churches (WCC)<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

FAP has the resources required to fulfill its mission: addressing the needs expressed by Reformed churches worldwide and supporting the success of their projects. The Foundation is independent yet strongly connected to the churches and their institutions.<\/p>\n

The main beneficiaries of FAP are the member churches of the World Communion of Reformed Churches (WCRC)<\/a><\/span> and their institutions, as well as the Reformed member churches of the World Council of Churches (WCC)<\/a><\/span>. FAP works in close collaboration with these two organizations, as well as with agencies involved in inter-church aid, both within Switzerland and abroad. To date, FAP has supported over a thousand projects.<\/p>\n

Deeply rooted in Switzerland, where its headquarters are located, FAP is dedicated to promoting and supporting Reformed Protestantism, while also fostering ecumenical and international collaboration.<\/p>\n

La Fondation pour l\u2019aide au protestantisme r\u00e9form\u00e9, FAP, a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e le 7 mai 1979 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une donation g\u00e9n\u00e9reuse. Le pasteur Edmond Perret, Secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l\u2019Alliance R\u00e9form\u00e9e Mondiale (ARM) (aujourd\u2019hui Communion Mondiale d\u2019Eglises r\u00e9form\u00e9es (CMER)<\/a> en est un des premiers membres du Conseil. La FAP est inscrite au registre du commerce et soumise \u00e0 l\u2019Autorit\u00e9 f\u00e9d\u00e9rale de surveillance des fondations AFS. Elle a son si\u00e8ge \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve, au Conseil \u0152cum\u00e9nique des \u00c9glises (COE)<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

La FAP se donne les moyens pour mettre en \u0153uvre sa mission : r\u00e9pondre aux besoins exprim\u00e9s par les \u00c9glises r\u00e9form\u00e9es dans le monde et les accompagner dans la r\u00e9ussite de leurs projets.\u00a0 La FAP est \u00e0 la fois ind\u00e9pendante et proche des \u00c9glises et de leurs institutions.<\/p>\n

Les b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires de la FAP sont principalement les \u00c9glises membres de la Communion Mondiale d\u2019\u00c9glises R\u00e9form\u00e9es (CMER)<\/a><\/span>,<\/u> leurs institutions ainsi que les \u00c9glises r\u00e9form\u00e9es membres du Conseil \u0152cum\u00e9nique des \u00c9glises (COE)<\/a><\/span>. La FAP collabore \u00e9troitement avec ces deux institutions, ainsi qu\u2019avec des agences travaillant dans le domaine de l\u2019entraide entre \u00c9glises, en Suisse ou \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger. \u00c0 ce jour la FAP a soutenu plus de mille projets.<\/p>\n
